Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI)
LSCI is a nationally recognized behavior management technique. It is a therapeutic talking strategy that adults can use to talk to students or youth during stressed out times. LSCI is meant to prevent and solve crises, build good relationships between the adults and struggling youth, and help the youth learn to change repetitive patterns of self-defeating behavior. LSCI provides training sessions for special educators, counselors, psychologists, juvenile justice staff, and others in order to equip them with the skills for crisis intervention.
